Puppy Updates 12/01/09

The new puppies from Franny and Dazee are now 3 weeks old. They are all doing wonderful. My favorite male puppy is Tim McGraw. He is a gorgeous red male with a beautiful head. I am very tempted to keep this male, but I am trying to be strong, LOL. CH. Rico has sired 4 nice girls I am holding back. My friend Cathleen gets first pick, and the I might have to keep one myself. There will be 2 girls from Rico available, I just don't know which ones yet.

My new Merle male Gemstones Lil Sparky is here, and has bred 3 of my girls. (Jasmine, CoCoa, and Boston). I am not sure if they are pregnant yet, so check back for updates.

Ginger's Story

Ginger is my oldest and largest Chihuahua. She is 12 years old and weighs 12 pounds. Ginger is my loyal and faithful companion. Ginger was born in Stamping Ground KY, where we use to live. Her mother Dot Dot was only 3 pounds. When Ginger was born it took both me and my husband to pull her out of my tiny Dot Dot. Ginger was a 10 ounce puppy! We did get Ginger birthed safely and Mom did okay too (just a little sore) Ginger had 2 litter mates and they were tiny as can be, and only grew up to be 3 pounds like Mom. My family said we had to keep Ginger because we worked so hard to get her into this world. Ginger is my best friend, and the most human like dog I have ever owned. Chihuahuas can live as long as 20 years old. I hope my Ginger will be with me at least another 10 years :)

Gidget's Story

Gidget is a little 3 pound Chihuahua out of HI-C Little Red Corvette and Swerlina Merlina. She has an adorable little applehead, and short legs. She was bred once and had to have a c-section. I placed Gidget in a pet home, where she lived for one year. Her new owners had her spayed, and spoiled her very much. For some reason her owners were not able to keep her. They brought her back after a year. She has been a little blessing to me, and is the sweetest girl ever. Little Gidget will stay here with me as "SunGold's Little Mascot".

Oh my gosh Franny and Dazee are about to pop...can't wait to see what the "Puppy Stork" delivers. Should be any time now.
